How can I make the oil extraction process smoother and more efficient?
For best results, extract oil while it’s warm. Wait 5–10 minutes after shutting off the engine, then begin extraction. Cold oil or manual pumping may take longer.
What is the recommended temperature range for optimal oil extraction?
The ideal working temperature is between 35°F and 140°F (2°C–60°C). Operating within this range ensures optimal performance of the extractor pump.
Why is the suction getting weaker?
This is a normal condition and not due to leakage or a defect. As the oil level rises, vacuum decreases. Keep oil below the MAX line.
If not, pump 1–2 times every 30 seconds for manual use, or ensure sufficient airflow for pneumatic use.
Why couldn’t it extract any oil, not even a drop?
When the hose tip is pressed against the bottom of the oil pan, a vacuum blockage can occur. Please pull the hose up about 1/4 inch (6–7 mm), and the oil will begin to flow.
How do I maintain my EWK Oil Extractor?
To maintain peak performance, empty the used oil when the reservoir reaches 70% capacity. Avoid leaving used oil in the extractor. Rinse the reservoir and hoses after each use, then allow all parts to dry completely.
